We hope this website will give you all
the information you need about our surgery and the way it is run. It will be updated regularly with news about the surgery and different health campaigns that will be run. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- History The practice was established in 1984 practising from a Victorian house complete with its own fruit orchard. The premises were extensively extended and refurbished in 1990 to provide ground floor consulting rooms together with purpose built treatment and patient waiting areas. Further development took place in 2001 to create a first floor administration suite. The Partners. Dr. I. Schofield (Senior Partner) entered into partnership with Dr. Richard Gregory in 1987. Soon afterwards Dr. Karen Matthews joined the practice and upon Dr. Gregory's retirement from general practice in 1990, Dr. Peter Furber joined the practice. In 1995 Dr. James Ellison joined Drs Schofield, Matthews and Furber. Upon Dr. Furber's relocation to Dorset in 2005 Dr. David Hall joined the practice. Drs Schofield, Matthews and Hall trained at Leicester Medical School and Dr. Ellison trained in London. The practice prides itself on providing good quality family medicine, delivered in a well organised and timely manner by well trained and motivated professional staff.
